David spoke to the members of our argentine CEO community on “It’s Not Who You Know, It’s Who Knows You” on September 2011 in Buenos Aires. During the course of 2013/14, I served in the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Program Development Committee, our role being to source and organise speakers for the MDRT Annual Meeting, held in Toronto in June 2014.
As such, we viewed over 800 speakers to narrow our choice to around 17 of those that we felt could impart a strong message, provide transferable content and present at the standard for which MDRT is renowned. This was quite a challenge, as we were seeking out speakers who could communicate with a diverse audience of 9,000 people of different ages and experience and from over 80 countries.
One of our selected speakers was David Avrin and I am very pleased to confirm that he was one of our standout presenters, both in terms of content, delivery and style. The committee was very demanding, including needing pre-speech manuscripts (to aid translators), numerous conference call discussions and a full rehearsal in March 2014; in all respects, David was a joy to work with.
He clearly understood our needs and our desire to create a world class event. He was happy to design his content around our specific requirements and to accept suggested changes, including at rehearsal. He was punctual, courteous, adaptable and co-operative at all times both before, during and after the meeting.
