Shannon’s background includes being a high-performing executive in both the hospitality and real estate industries. For over 25 years, she has worked for diverse organizations, including a shopping center developer, an anchor retail tenant and a national real estate syndicator. She has a proven track record in both developing relationships, creating teams that work and building reputations in a growing firm, while hiring and onboarding hundreds of team members throughout the U.S.
She is a Certified Property Manager® and National Instructor for both the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and the American Management Association (AMA) and has trained thousands of professionals and audience members both nationally and internationally, including in India, Russia, Ukraine, China, The Republic of Georgia, Canada, South Korea and South Africa.
Her widely-read column, “Marketing Solutions” has appeared regularly in the Journal of Property Management (JPM). Shannon is the author of two books, “Say it With Success: Foolproof Ways to Improve Your Presentation Skills” and “Strategies for Working With Small Tenants”.
Shannon is also a speaker for a wide variety of national associations such as Community Associations Institute, IREM, Building Owners and Managers Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
She is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
