Shawna is the ONLY expert who speaks to audiences entirely from the customer perspective. She reveals what motivates today's buyers & helps businesses navigate the new consumer landscape.

Shawna Suckow, CSP, CMP

Shawna Suckow is a refreshingly unique presenter who shares new insights into the world of consumer behavior. There’s never been a bigger shift in how we buy, and the need for retailers, service providers, and B2B salespeople to adapt is immediate.

For many industries, these next few years are what she calls their Blockbuster Moment – similar to that point in time where Blockbuster Video faced a fork in the road – that critical time when they still had a choice to adapt.

Shawna is obsessed with helping organizations uncover the latest trends in customer perspectives. She reveals up-to-the-minute customer perspectives that impact how companies need to evolve their strategies in both sales and marketing.

Using humor and candor, she shakes up the business-as-usual mindset, and presents a revealing perspective on the future of retail, B2B, and anyone who wants more customers. Shawna offers participants ideas and tools that are immediately and easily adoptable, to dramatically impact their success. She also shares straightforward insights into the future, if they keep doing business as usual.

Her presentations have real take-away value that will help organizations:

  • Rethink the typical sales & marketing approach
  • Harness the innovative mindset of a startup
  • Adapt to the swifty changing preferences of their ideal customers
  • Recession-proof their operations

______________________________________________________________

80% of traditional retail, service, and B2B organizations will go extinct in the next 10 years. Don’t be traditional, be exceptional.

_____________________________________________________________________

What do you want your clients, your sales & marketing teams, or your association members to be able to do differently once they leave your meeting? Shawna empowers them to grab onto the future and masterfully adapt to what’s coming. Disruption is the name of the game when it comes to consumer behavior. The shifts are huge and impacting all industries, and nothing will return to “normal” again.

Sessions so engaging, participants actually put their devices away! Shawna helps audiences understand todays evolving customer, and the global trends and cultural shifts that are changing how they buy. She helps businesses understand coming trends so they can innovate rather than react.

Her style has been described as relatable, authentic, insightful and a fun delivery of serious facts (which also makes her a great emcee!).

Today’s audiences crave real solutions to address their frustrations and empower their goals. The world is evolving so rapidly, technology is barreling forward faster than most can keep up, and we live in a culture where customers are ignoring salespeople and distrusting businesses like never before. Shawna’s sessions will help attendees embrace current and future disruptions, and see them as the real opportunities they are.

Shawna is known as The Buyer Insider, because she’s the only Sales Speaker telling it like it is from a customer perspective. She brings 20+ years of experience combined with extensive research into consumer behavior. She discusses the rapidly changing consumer culture, the impact of technology (for tech lovers and the tech-hesitant), and how businesses can leverage current trends to be more successful.

The bottom line is this: Shawna can help your audience break through the noise, leverage the latest strategies and face disruption head-on.

If you’re looking for a memorable, engaging speaker that will get participants connecting and collaborating, hire Shawna. Her sessions have been voted “Session of the Year,” and garnered near-perfect scores at most events (really!). Most of all, she’ll get your participants of all experience levels to interact and create their own outcomes. She doesn’t do ‘boring’! If your audience wants more than a talking head – someone who will capture and hold their attention, choose Shawna.

A little about Shawna:

She was a million-dollar B2B buyer in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. In 2008 she founded an association of B2B buyers, which now has over 2,500 members across North America. she began studying B2B and B2C consumer behavior in earnest in 2009, and speaking to audiences of salespeople, marketers and retailers who were frustrated with the shifting marketplace and the influences of technology. She’s written three books, two of which have become best-sellers (can’t win ’em all!).

What she’s proud of: She’s now spoken on 5 continents in 16 countries, helping audiences to understand the ever-evolving customer landscape. Honors include being named to the Global Top 100 Women Business & Tech Speakers, Planners’ Favorite Speakers lists of 2014 and 2015, and Top 8 Speakers of 2013 (along with James Earl Jones!).

Three memorable things about Shawna: She played in the World Series of Poker Main Event in 2015. She’s so good at parallel parking, she should get a trophy. Due to a freak badminton injury, she now wears one contact lens.

When She’s not on the road: She’s back in Minnesota fighting off snow or gigantic mosquitoes (a.k.a. our two seasons). She lives with her husband (a weekend Elvis Impersonator), two unimpressed teenagers, and her goofy golden retriever named Henry Jones, Jr.

– Executive Event Producer, Art Guild, Inc.

There’s so many times I go to an event, a seminar, or a national convention, and wonder, ‘where are my nuggets of information??’ Sales speakers are stuck in the stone age, they’re not changing with the times. My clients are changing, but they’re not changing. So there was a LOT of information that you gave where I was like, ‘yes, yes, yes, yes!’ I feel like you understand what’s going on.
